lilpebbly brought up a question last nite i thought was very interesting. forgot about it till today.the question was "Why do asian girls date white guys?" stereotype? truth? rumor? well, her reasoning was that white guys (meaning caucasian, didn't want to offend anyone out there) knew how to treat girls better. they would bring flowers, take them outta dates and etc. 1 example she brought up was how guys ask girls to a formal dance. she says guys @ keppel (my highschool) would go up to a girl and say, "hey you. u wanna go to the dance?" the girl replies, "uh... sure." guy says, "kewl, cya then." then she brings up a white guy @ a different school got the whole class involved and even the teacher and brought baskets of flowers and gifts. i've gotta say that most asian girls that like white guys however are for a different reason. maybe treating them better is one thing, but like the quote "Never judge a book by cover" tells us it's human nature to do so. i mean in "Cooking Master Boy" (an anime i'm watching), the appeal/appearance/aroma of the food has to be good before the customer will try it. even if the food tastes great and would be the best tasting dish in the world, many may be repulsed by it before even attempting to try it. some things i've personally experienced tells me a great deal. i was @ a theme park (i'll keep names, locations, and dates unidentified to protect these ppl) and 2 of my friends (yes, they're asian girls) sees a cute white guy and guess what! they stand next to him quietly and ask another friend that came to take pictures of them with the white guy next to them. if u look @ them, they look like they want a picture with the background. but their real intent was the white guy. it's very common for asian girls to say a white guy is cute (especially when they flip through one of those magazines, what are they called? seventeen or something like that). but u hardly ever hear one of them say an asian guy is cute, although i have heard ppl say that, but it's a very uncommon thing. maybe this isn't why asian girls date white guys at all, but somehow i see a corelationship between them. hehe.

well, it's 6:30am and i'm heading off to cory to *cough* *cough* transfer some files *cough* *cough*. welp, guess i'll be waking up @ like 5pm again. muwahahaha. luv the weekends. shoot! i have tonz of hw tomorrow. a 2pg paper, 100pgs of reading, ee40 hw, cs98 hw, cs61c online quize. shoot!!! =(
