thought of the day: richest guy in the world eh? the position everyone strives for, but only a handful ever see the light at the end of the tunnel. i was recently told by a friend that bill gates was no longer the richest guy in the world and was taken over by the founder of ikea. i had no reason to not believe my friend, but was shock that a furniture company can overtake bill gates. many news sources reported it: IKEA founder overtakes Gates as world's richest - TV. sorry about not posting yesterday. had dinner with with mechy, cari, and decathanerd @ 168 and played video games till 5am. got to bed by 5:30am and woke up @ 10am for my cs169 proj meeting.

for any baseball fans, you'll know today was a big showdown between the giants and dogders. and any die hard giants fan would have been so pissed about the last inning. i can still recall the scene where cmdcc stomped around the room cussing. but who could blame him. the giants were playing great leading 3-1 until losing the game in the final inning. now the giants are down 1 game from the astros to obtain the wildcard. everyone here's crossing their finger hoping the astro will lose 1 of the next 2 games.

not really snooping around, but the mail man amazon delivered a package to our complex today. i looked @ the shipping label and noticed it wasnt my name nor cmdcc's, so i didnt bother reading on, but cdmcc noticed that the package was shipped to Princess _____ _____. The name sounded Indian/Persian to me, but I'm not really too sure. so here we are, contemplating if there really is a princess living in our apt complex. i thought it might've been a 1st name, but cdmcc claims that no one uses Princess as a 1st name, and only uses it as a title. since i'm not too familiar with english names, i didn't argue.
